GRANDMA LEE GOT TALENT

The first five top 20 acts were chosen on America's Got Talent and 75 year old comedian, Grandma Lee was one of them. The other SemiFinal contestants are: Acrodunk, Drew Thomas Magic, Kevin Skinner and the judges' pick Arcadia Broad. I have to admit, I just starting watching this show this season and I love it. When Grandma was selected to move on to the next round - I shed a tear.
Season 2's winner Terry Fator was on the show tonite and I couldn't believe this guy just locked in a $100 million dollar deal in Vegas. Wow! Who knew puppeteering was this big.
Also on the show tonite was the lovely Mrs. Cannon (Mariah Carey). Her and hubby were very playful on stage with Mariah pinching Nick's butt as they walked off the stage.
I'm glad they are not addressing Em's latest lame attack. He will shortly go AWAY!

The sexy Victor Webster has been added to the new "Melrose Place." During The CW's "Melrose Place" panel at the TV Critics Press Tour, show producers confirmed that they had added a gay character to the cast. Victor Webster ("Harper's Island," "Charmed") will play Caleb Brewer -- a cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking, L.A. Lakers-loving kind of guy -- who first appears in the series' second episode.

WELCOME HOME EUNA LEE AND LAURA LING

Former President Bill Clinton has left North Korea with two U.S. journalists who had been jailed by Kim Jong Il’s regime.

Clinton, Laura Ling, (whose sister is journalist Lisa Ling) and Euna Lee are enroute to Los Angeles and are expected to arrive at the Bob Hope (Burbank) airport in the next hour. Former Vice President Al Gore who is also expected to greet the ladies asked for Clinton's help in getting the women released. Laura Ling and Euna Lee were pardoned by North Korea less than 24 hours after Clinton arrived in the country. That's POWER!

The women were arrested near the North Korean-Chinese border in March and sentenced in June to 12 years of hard labor. They were accused of illegal entry and engaging in "hostile acts." They'd been working for a media venture started by Gore.

Clinton's brief trip to Pyongyang also resulted in rare talks with the regime's reclusive leader, Kim Jong Il. State run media described the talks as "wide-ranging" and "exhaustive." But a U.S. official says Clinton's mission did not include discussions beyond releasing the journalists.

The women will be reunited with their families.
