KOBE'S GOT A NEW SONG

The Multi-platinum rapper and ESPN.com blogger, Lil Wayne released a new song on Wednesday night (June 3) simply titled “Kobe Bryant.”

The new track opens with sound bites attesting to Kobe’s domination of the game, starting with Bryant expressing how he is driven by his desire to be the best. Throughout the song, Wayne praises the Lakers superstar, calling him “King Bryant” and drawing comparisons between themselves.

This should be the Lakers song for the rest of the finals...

LAKERS WHOOPED ORLANDO: BIG NAMES CAME TO CHEER

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic 100-75 in Game 1 of the NBA finals at Los Angeles Staples Center, with Kobe Bryant scoring a career finals-record 40 points, 36 over the first three quarters, while Pau Gasol added 16, putting the Lakers at a 9-5 record in the finals. Game 2 of the best-of-seven series will be played Sunday at Staples Center.
