JESSICA LOOKS SAD AND LONELY

In these exclusive first images since her breakup with pro athlete Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson looks sad as she leaves a personal training session in West Hollywood. Though she has confirmed via her Twitter account that she has received the support of her mom and her girlfriends during these difficult times, her body language in these pictures reveal that Simpson is still struggling to cope with the aftermath of being dumped the night before her 29th birthday, after being romantically entwined for over 2 years with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

I just wished she would have tried to work out her marriage with Nick. I think she was a bit too hasty in getting a divorce.

NICK AND VANESSA SPLIT

According to PEOPLE, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have called it quits.

"They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another," Minnillo's rep tells PEOPLE of the couple, who began dating in 2006.

The split comes after a rash of breakup rumors and reports, which were shot down. Earlier this month Minnillo told PEOPLE that she and Lachey were "very much still on."

Though they have split, a source says Minnillo, 28, and Lachey, 35, are "still friends. It was the right thing for both of them to do."

I really think that Nick has not gotten over Jessica. That's just my opinion!
