ROBERT DOWNEY JR CEMENTS HIS EXISTENCE

The "Iron Man" and "Sherlock Holmes" star Robert Downey, Jr. is the latest celeb to be memorialized at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. The A-list actor joked around as he cemented his Hand and Foot Prints. His wife and mother were by his side for this Hollywood honor.

IT'S A BOY!

Oscar and Grammy Winner, Jennifer Hudson gave birth to a baby boy, David Daniel Otunga, Jr., on Monday, her publicist confirmed. The baby is named after the singer's fiance and weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
"The baby is beautiful and perfect," Hudson's rep said in a statement. "His parents are ecstatic."
Hudson did not publicly announce her pregnancy. Rumors began to circulate that she was expecting earlier this year when she appeared to be showing on her inaugural tour of the U.S.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the proud parents did not find out the sex of the baby in advance, so they were prepared with pink and blue clothes just in case. Hudson reportedly prepared for the birth with a baby shower in her native Chicago in May. Hudson appeared visibly pregnant last month when she performed at the memorial service for Michael Jackson.
A possible reason for the silence, the Reporter speculated, was partially due to a desire for privacy, but also perhaps superstition in the wake of the family tragedy she suffered in October, when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago. The child was reportedly conceived a short time after the murders.
The estranged husband of Hudson's sister, William Balfour, has been charged in the murders and is awaiting trial.

BREAKING NEWS: FARRAH FAWCETT HAS DIED

Farrah Fawcett has died of cancer at age 62, wire services are reporting.
The glamour superstar who made her name as one of TV's Charlie's Angels spent her final years fighting anal cancer that ultimately took her life.

In September 2006, Fawcett learned she had the disease. The devastating news led to reconciliation with her on-and-off again boyfriend, Ryan O’Neal, the father of their son Redmond. O’Neal was by her side as Fawcett went through chemotherapy and radiation treatments and the actress was declared cancer-free in February 2007.
But later that spring, she learned that it was back.

R.I.P. Ms. Fawcett - that beautiful spirit and smile will light up heaven.

NIKKI FINKE'S MULTIMILLION DOLLAR SALE

Hollywood Life's parent corporation Mail.com Media Corp. has signed a multiyear deal with Nikki Finke, the longtime journalist and founder of the blog DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com, which began as a column in L.A. Weekly.
According to a person familiar with the terms, Finke, the site's sole owner and writer-editor, will get a low seven-figure sum to sell Deadline Hollywood Daily plus millions of dollars over the life of a five-year-plus employment contract. The deal also grants her a portion of the site's ad revenue.
Congratulations to Nikki! That's a hot deal!

CHRIS PINE'S MODEST PAD!

Chris Pine, despite the worldwide success of his blockbuster movie, "Star Trek," in which he played the younger and more rebellious Captain James T. Kirk, still lives in this $1,500-a-month apartment in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles. In this economy, I think that's a wise decision for now.

CHARLIZE STORMS OFF PHOTO SET

Actress Charlize Theron was working on a photoshoot when all of a sudden she turned frantic and very unhappy. Charlize supposedly stormed off the set to cool down outside still wearing one of the many outfits she was modeling. People surrounded Ms. Theron to persuade her into coming back to work but she denied them all and walked out while her assistant packed up her things and she left the work site. No one is saying what upset Ms. Theron, but I hope she's okay.
