To be or not to be…but at what cost?  It’s almost inconceivable the lengths that some artists & entertainers feel obligated to go to keep themselves in the headlines. The prioritization of fan base over God, family, morals, and over just plain ol’ fashioned common sense is an example of that remarkable distance. I think it’s important to understand the premise of letting a character that’s been created for fans drown out who you really are. One easily can become a zombie, while the people who love them waste away looking for the sea salt. It becomes so easy to sell your soul to the entertainment business while creating an illusion of grandeur. Hence, this painfully obvious thirst for relevance that completely overshadows sensibility. Thirsty much?

Usher is putting the finishing touches on his latest album, the follow up to his 2008 album, Here I Stand, and his mega-hit, 2004's Confessions.
Now the R&B superstar is making another confession: how he manages to stay fit! His his new Body by Milk ads, he says "The protein and nutrients in low fat milk help me build muscle and stay fit."



Usher gets candid with ET's Kevin Frazier in an exclusive interview about the R&B star's personal life and dazzling array of new projects.
In his first interview since filing for divorce from his wife Tameka Foster, Usher opens up about whether he feels there is turmoil in his life.
"I'd hate for [people] to assume that," he tells Kevin. "If there's any turmoil I think it's managing all of it, but having an incredible team that helps me do that it makes it very easy, or easier than it would normally be attempting to do it myself."
Creative ventures the five-time GRAMMY® Award winner is juggling include a new album he's wrapping up, a fragrance and a "Body by Milk" ad.
"Every time you've ever seen a milk ad on an artist, it kind of represents who they are as an artist throughout the entire duration of their career," Usher says. "[My milk ad] is just classic, it's timeless, it's music. We were actually in the studio, recording."

IT'S OFFICIAL!

According to the AP — R&B singer Usher filed for divorce Friday (right before closing time) from Tameka Foster Raymond in Fulton County, Atlanta today, less than two years after their high profile wedding at a Georgia resort.

The Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, filed the petition in Superior Court in Atlanta. Records posted to the court's Web site did not give any details about the split between the R&B star and his wife, who were married in August 2007.

They have two young sons, 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. His wife has three children from a previous marriage.

E-mail and telephone messages to Usher's publicist were not immediately returned.

The hearing will take place on July 15 in front of Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane at 2:30PM / EST.

Wow! This is so crazy! He's single again LADIES!!!

USHER'S SWAG

A new track has leaked and the rumors are on full blast. Usher and wife of 2 years, Tameka Raymond are supposedly getting a divorce. All the blogs and even entertainment sites are reporting that the two are over. No official word has come out of either camp and the papers (divorce) were allegedly file yesterday. However, The Atlanta courts claim that there are no such papers. Now since Usher is spending a lot of time in LA and Malibu, maybe he is pulling a Whitney...establish residence in LA that way you can end the marriage in 6 months.
This story is getting more crazier by the minute. Bloggers are on high alert..waiting for the papers to be filed so they can talk trash about his wife. I don't understand why so many people are happy that another family is breaking up.

THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!

I don't like blogging about rumors but this one just grabbed my attention. Everyone knows how much I love Usher and I hate any rumors about him.
However, rumors are swirling that Usher has stepped out on his wife Tameka Raymond. Gossipers in the ATL are saying that their marriage is over because he has not been seen with his wife since October...
Radaronline and other blog sites are talking about pictures of Usher and this so called mystery woman. They have been seen around LA and Malibu (maybe she's his new publicist). According to Tameka's Tweets...she says, "the devil is a liar". I hear you girl.

Usher is said to have been caught sneaking into the Sunset Marquis at 1am with chick who didn’t want to be photographed! I don't believe that this "lady" is his jumpoff. Not happening!
