BRITNEY STOPS BY IDOL FINALE

According to Extra TV, the princess of pop will break away from her tour and make an unscheduled stop on the "American Idol" stage this week.

The "Womanizer" singer is rumored to be taking the stage for Adam Lambert and Kris Allen's fight for the title on the season finale of "American Idol." Other stars confirmed for the big finale include Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban, as well as Carrie Underwood and David Cook.

The producers of "Idol" have not confirmed Brit's appearance, but "Extra" is going to call this story true, since the source of the rumor, FOX, airs on the same network as "American Idol"!
