ICE CUBE SWITCHES AGENCIES

Actor, Producer, Rapper, Ice Cube has ditched WME and signed with UTA over the weekend. The $10 million dollar a picture actor is being repped by his former agents Ramses IsHak and Michael Sheresky, who also joined UTA earlier in the year, Also signing with UTA is the actor-director-writer-producer’s production company Cube Vision, which is run by Cube’s producing partner, MattAlvarez.

Ice Cube and Matt are in post production on the comedy, "Lottery Ticket" which stars Bow Wow and also developing the comedy Ride Along for New Line.
Cube Vision additionally just started production on the TV series “Are We There Yet?,” based on Cube’s hit film of the same name, which the duo is producing with a substantial series commitment from TBS.

BALLIN': BEYONCE AND JAY-Z LUNCH IN NEW YORK

Beyonce and Jay-Z dine at Nello's restaurant on the Upper East Side where they spend $1,200 on lunch, which includes a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne. To show their appreciation for the service, they even left a hefty $500 tip. I'm sure their waiter was extremely happy.

Rapper/Actress and now singer, Lil Kim and Cyndi Lauper sing Time After Time/Put Your Lighters Up for Nelson Mandela's birthday celebration. I've never heard the Lil' one sing before. She's not bad. She sounded a little nervous but did a good job.

MARIAH CAREY CROSS DRESSES FOR "OBSESSION"

The beautiful and talented, Mariah Carey surprised fans and the crew around her as she did a little cross-dressing outside of the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Mariah was dressed as a chauffeur, but when the gorgeous singer/actress came out as (Is that an Eminem look a like?) during the filming of her new music video “Obsessed”, directed by Brett Ratner, (X-Men: Last Stand, Rush Hour 2&3) she shocked everyone.

"Obsessed" will be featured on Ms. Cannon's soon-to-be released album called “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”. The track is said to be a response to Eminem’s recent lyrical attacks of Miss Carey and her hubby, Nick Cannon. Although, Mariah nor Nick have official said this but people think it's referring to the rapper. You go Mariah - loving that she is trying something different. The acting Bug has bitten her HARD! Can't wait to see Precious or the new video.

QUEEN LATIFAH COVERS ESSENCE + REVEALS SEXUAL ABUSE

Queen Latifah has spoken for the first time about being a victim of sexual abuse as a child.
The rapper-turned-actress says a teenage babysitter preyed upon her, leaving her unable to form relationships as an adult.
Latifah, 39, told Essence magazine: "He violated me.
"I never told anybody. I just buried it as deeply as I could and kept people at an arms length. I never really let a person get too close to me.
"I could have been married years ago, but I had a commitment issue."

JAY Z'S BLUEPRINT: 9/11?

Jay-Z's long-awaited Blueprint 3 LP will be released on September 11 via a deal with the Warner Music Group, a source close to the situation has confirmed to MTV News. The album's release would come eight years to the day after the release of Blueprint.
Sources close to the situation have confirmed information from radio personality's Miss Info's Twitter page stating that Jay will release Blueprint 3 on September 11, eight years to the day after the release of the first Blueprint album. Hov's new set reportedly will be coming out via a new partnership with the Warner Music Group.
The MC recently parted ways with his longtime label, Def Jam, clearing the way for him to release Blueprint 3 via a different company. Last week reports emerged that Jay was in the process of negotiating deals with both Sony Music and the Warner Music Group.

Jay nor his rep have confirmed any information about the reported deals, and at press time there was no official release date for Blueprint 3. Jay — who gave a surprise performance in Los Angeles with Eminem on Monday — kicks off his tour with Ciara in Las Vegas on July 3.
