New York Times best selling author Karrine Steffans, now Karrine Steffans-McCrary, (when did her and Darius get married?) returns this summer with her hopeful best seller, The Vixen Manual: How to Find, Seduce, & Keep the Man You Want. The book will be released July 13, 2009 by Hachette Book Group USA/Grand Central Publishing.
The Vixen Manual: How to Find, Seduce, & Keep the Man You Want is the first in a series of Manuals. This 320 page “girl’s guide to everything” explores a plethora of topics relating to love, sex, and relationships alongside all the trappings of singlehood and marriage. With 50 chapters and a bevy of how-to illustrations throughout the book and in its coveted Sex chapter, The Vixen Manual gives readers all they expect from the tell-all author. Blending old-school sensibilities with new-school ideals, per usual, Karrine does not hold back and divulges a contemporary set of rules to an ultramodern generation of women.
In stores July 13th, The Vixen Manual makes its national debut that morning on NBC’s The Today Show alongside hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. That evening, the author signs copies of her latest title at Borders Penn Plaza. The following day, Karrine appears live on New York’s CW 11 Morning Show before her signing at the Hue Man Bookstore in Harlem. These personal appearances along with in-studio radio interviews as well as a satellite television and radio tour and a final signing at Hollywood, California’s Borders, July 29th, round out The Vixen Manual’s publicity touring schedule, to date.
The author, while currently gearing up for her third tour, is also in the final stages of penning her fourth title and second Manual, while dabbling in two new genres with a children’s bedtime book series and a pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing series geared toward the unconventional mother. Karrine is concurrently working with production powerhouse World of Wonder and the Oxygen network on a reality television series, for which she has recently taped its pilot.
Wow! You have to respect this woman's work ethics. She hustles for her dough!
